Country Director, Sri Lanka
Younus serves as CWEIC’s Director for Sri Lanka and the Maldives having taken up the role in April 2019.
Younus is the Co-Founder of HSA Capital, a boutique Trade Finance and Investment Management advisory that assists Financial and Listed Corporations in Emerging Markets obtain DFI finance.
Prior to joining CWEIC, Younus was initially based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where he served on the Boards of Global Business Trust LLC, a family office and Orange Links LLC, a Commodity Trading House from 2007 to 2014 before returning to Sri Lanka where he served as a Development Consultant at the Ministry of Finance.
Younus graduated with an LLB from London Metropolitan University prior to pursuing a career in business and consultancy.
