Nisai Group

Nisai Group is a leading provider of flexible, inclusive, and high-quality online education, specialising in supporting traditional and non-traditional learners and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Established in 1996, Nisai operates both in the UK and internationally, delivering accredited academic and vocational programmes to students in over 30 countries.
Core Educational Services
- Online Learning and Virtual Academy
Nisai’s flagship offering is the Nisai Virtual Academy, an online school environment that replicates the best aspects of traditional schooling – qualified teachers, structured lessons, pastoral care, and extra-curricular activities – but delivered in a secure, accessible online environment. Lessons are live, interactive, and taught by subject specialists trained to support SEND students.
- Curriculum Delivery
Nisai delivers the UK curriculum, including Functional Skills, GCSEs, and A Levels, as well as internationally recognised programmes from Cambridge International and Pearson.
- Personalised and Inclusive Learning
The model is highly adaptive, offering personalised timetables, mentoring, and individual tutor support. Students benefit from small class sizes (typically no more than 15 per class), tailored feedback, and a focus on emotional and social well-being. Nisai’s approach is particularly effective for learners who cannot attend traditional schools due to medical, social, or behavioural challenges.
Specialist Support for SEND Learners
- Section 41 Approval
Nisai is a Section 41 Approved Provider, meaning it is recognised by the UK Department for Education as a specialist education provider for students with SEND. This status allows Nisai to be included in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for post-16 learners.
- Blended and Facilitated Learning
Beyond online-only delivery, Nisai partners with local schools, governments, and learning hubs to provide blended learning—combining digital lessons with in-person facilitator support. This model enhances mainstream and SEND education in diverse settings.
International Reach and Partnerships
- Global Programmes
Nisai Learning International extends the group’s model globally, collaborating with governments, schools, and learning hubs to deliver British and international curricula. Projects have been implemented in countries including the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
- Nisai Global School (NGS)
NGS serves students aged 8–18 worldwide, offering pathways to IGCSEs, A Levels, and higher education. It emphasises leadership, career skills, and cultural exchange through a diverse, international student body.
Skills Development and Workplace Training
- Workforce Upskilling
Nisai also supports adult learners and employers through the Nisai Skills Academy, offering workplace training modules, English literacy improvement, and skills development across multiple sectors including Caregiving and Education in the form of teacher training.
Community, Extracurricular, and Pastoral Support
- Clubs and Societies
Students are encouraged to join a variety of clubs, societies, and social activities, fostering a sense of community and supporting holistic development beyond academics.
- Mentoring and Pastoral Care
Dedicated mentoring addresses students’ emotional and social needs, building resilience and a positive mindset essential for long-term success.
Quality Assurance and Recognition
- Accreditation and Inspection
Nisai Learning has been re-accredited as a Centre of Excellence by the Inclusion Quality Mark and is a Cambridge International Virtual Online School and a Pearson Online Centre.
