Policy for Strategic Partners
CWEIC offers the opportunity for businesses, organisations and Government bodies to join as a strategic partner if they wish to engage actively and constructively in business, trade and investment opportunities in Commonwealth countries.
Membership of the CWEIC network is secured once the annual fee is received following a proposal and invitation to join or renewal notice and is by invitation only.
CWEIC welcomes strategic partners who will add to the network in terms of sectors, geographies and existing and potential business opportunities. It is not limited strictly to businesses and organisations originating in Commonwealth countries and can include those from non-Commonwealth countries who wish to engage constructively with Commonwealth partners.
CWEIC retains the right not to renew or issue an invitation to a strategic partnership should a situation arise where its reputation would be impacted or negatively influence CWEIC’s relationships with its other stakeholders and strategic partners.
CWEIC is recognised by Governments and business leaders across the globe as a strong and respected voice. It strengthens business and economic growth in Commonwealth countries and strategic partners are invited to join who actively support this ethos.
The registration fee, as listed for each conference, covers all conference papers, lunches, morning and afternoon refreshments and, where applicable, an evening reception/dinner. Accommodation and travel associated with the conference are NOT included in the registration fee.
The information you provide when booking for a conference will be held on a database. It will not be released to third parties unconnected with the conference for which you are registering without your express permission.
Please note that Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, the organisers, do not endorse or recommend in any way any of the companies, individuals or firms presenting at, attending or associated with the conference nor the information given by them. All information provided at the conference is for information only and to be used on an ‘as is, with all faults’ basis. The organiser relies on the companies, individuals or firms presenting at or associated with the conference to present accurate and reliable information, however the organisers give no warranty for it. The organisers shall not be liable for any decision made or action taken by delegates based upon any information obtained at or as a result of attending the conference.
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than one month or 30 days before the Event start date and will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee. This must be acknowledge by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.
While the transfer of tickets is not allowed CWEIC will consider written requests for replacements. No refund will be made for cancellations received 30 or fewer days before the Event start date or for nonattendance.
We shall not be liable to you for travel, accommodation or other costs if we are required to cancel the Event as a result of an event outside our control. Refunds will not be given if you cannot attend for the reason that your visa application is declined. It is the delegate’s responsibility to check the eligibility criteria prior to registering for the forum.
