Join Coventry University and CWEIC at the 4th MBA Masterclass session. Stakeholder engagement is relevant to any type of organisation: business, public or civil society. It is particularly important in the context of running an organisation responsibly. Stakeholder engagement is crucially different from stakeholder management: stakeholder engagement implies a willingness to listen and to discuss issues of interest to stakeholders of the organisation. The leadership of the organisation still needs to set the direction for growth, but does so with an understanding of stakeholders’ wants and needs as well as the organisation’s wants and needs. This session will explore the conditions for meaningful engagement by effectively recognising, analysing and utilising opportunities and challenges in building relations. Speaker: Dr Eno Amasi Maycock is an Associate Professor and the Executive Director of the MBA. Her research area focuses on Reward and Performance Management, Organizational Behaviour, International HRM and Leadership Branding and Positioning.

CWEIC will convene in London for its Global Advisory Meeting. This will offer new Strategic Partners an opportunity to introduce themselves to the network and to be updated by the CWEIC leadership team on the future programme and outlook.

In 2023, CWEIC led a delegation of Strategic Partners to the India-Africa Conclave organised by CWEIC Strategic Partners, the Confederation of Indian Industries. The event convened business and government leaders from India and Africa to explore potential partnerships – with over 40 African ministers in attendance in 2023.

Alongside the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa, CWEIC will convene CBF in partnership with the Government of Samoa, bringing together Heads of Government and senior business leaders for intimate and interactive discussions and dialogue.

In partnership with the City of London and the Royal Commonwealth Society. CWEIC Strategic Partners will be invited to a black-tie dinner with members of the diplomatic corps and Commonwealth business leaders.
