CWEIC is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Penney CMG as Hub Chair – Middle East.

Simon brings exceptional experience in international trade and economic diplomacy, having served as HM Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and HM Consul General to Dubai. His distinguished career spans senior roles in government and the private sector across infrastructure, banking, and finance.

As Hub Chair, Simon will lead CWEIC’s engagement across the Middle East, supporting our Strategic Partners and stakeholders to unlock new trade and investment opportunities across the Commonwealth.
