CWEIC extends its congratulations to Mr Adeniran Aderogba, Founder and Managing Director of CLG Securities, on his appointment as the inaugural President and CEO of the Regional Maritime Development Bank (RMDB).

Following approval from President Bola Tinubu, the RMDB has officially commenced operations in Nigeria, more than a decade after being initiated by the Maritime Organisation of West and Central Africa (MOWCA). The Bank is expected to play a critical role in financing port infrastructure, expanding regional trade, and supporting the blue economy.

Mr Aderogba, who brings over 30 years of experience in finance and maritime administration, also serves on CWEIC’s Global Advisory Council. His leadership reflects the calibre of expertise within CWEIC’s Strategic Partner network and our shared commitment to enabling sustainable economic growth across the Commonwealth.
