Sam Cohen CVO OBE, Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), and James Rous, Chairman of Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) Ltd., had the honour of meeting with the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, the Hon Shirley Botchwey.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Commonwealth Secretariat, CBF, and CWEIC to unlock the full potential of intra-Commonwealth trade and investment.

Discussions explored practical ways to leverage the Commonwealth’s shared values, legal systems, and extensive business networks to facilitate cross-border commerce, promote sustainable economic growth, and enhance opportunities for member states of all sizes. The dialogue also addressed upcoming initiatives and flagship events aimed at driving greater private sector participation and delivering tangible benefits to businesses and communities across the Commonwealth.
