Ayo Otuyalo is a Nigerian business strategist and industry leader with over 25 years of experience driving growth, partnerships, and capacity development across the energy and industrial sectors. He has built a reputation for advancing Nigerian content, fostering international collaboration, and shaping dialogue on policy, investment, and sustainable development.
Ayo is Group Managing Director of Prime Atlantic, a dynamic, indigenous Nigerian company delivering world-class services across the oil and gas, power, construction, manufacturing, and food and beverage sectors. Since 2005, he has steered the organisation into a leading role in Nigeria’s industrial landscape, building a group of seven high-performing subsidiaries through strategic partnerships with global leaders including Vinci Energies Oil & Gas, MacDermid, and Collabro.
Under his leadership, Prime Atlantic has not only strengthened local capacity but also developed exploration and production competencies through Milesquare Petroleum Resources, a controlling stakeholder in BAP Energy Limited. Ayo’s vision has been central to advancing Nigerian content in the energy sector while maintaining international best practice, underscored by Prime Atlantic’s TRACE certification since 2016.
A recognised thought leader, Ayo has shared insights at some of the world’s most prestigious platforms. He contributed at the 2022 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and the 2023 Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit, and in 2024 collaborated with the Heritage Foundation on the publication Free and Open Spaces. He has since co-anchored several global conferences on democracy, resilience, and economic growth. In 2023, he was also invited to the Forum 2000 Conference in Prague, further cementing his role as an international voice on policy and investment.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Ayo serves as Honorary Consul of Romania in Lagos State and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (OGTAN) and Impact Your World, a non-profit organisation driving social impact across Africa.
He holds a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and brings over 25 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and leadership to his work.
