Since its establishment in 2017, SGCL has rapidly emerged as a key player in Nigeria’s agricultural export industry, exporting over 200,000 MT of these products and capturing approximately 15% of Nigeria’s cocoa export market share.

Sunbeth Global ConceptsOlasunkanmi Owoyemi is the Managing Director of Sunbeth Global Concepts, a rapidly growing African agri-commodities export and processing company with a mission to transform value chains and uplift origin producers.
A second-generation entrepreneur with deep roots in Nigeria’s cocoa industry, Olasunkanmi founded Sunbeth to address a longstanding challenge in his dad’s business: delayed payments to origin traders by local cocoa exporters and international traders . What began as a personal response to his father’s business struggles that affected origin production has evolved into a thriving enterprise that now moves tens of thousands of metric tons in commodities annually, powering a global network of producers, partners, and clients.
With a strong belief in the power of faith, resilience, and having the right people, Olasunkanmi has built Sunbeth from the ground up. Under his leadership, the company has scaled its operations from just 200 to over 50,000 metric tons annually, within the last decade. Central to this growth has been his strategic focus on vertical integration, seamlessly connecting sourcing, logistics, and exports to strengthen the company’s control and efficiency across the supply chain.
Olasunkanmi is passionate about building systems that empower stakeholders at every level. His vision is rooted in empowering origin producers with access to financing structure , education, technology, logistics and market access needed to leverage the ideal origin climate to ensure global food security.
