During Lord Marland’s visit to Sri Lanka, a private dinner was hosted in Colombo by CWEIC Global Advisory Board member Eshana De Silva.

The evening brought together a distinguished group of CWEIC Strategic Partners, Government representatives, and corporate leaders for discussion and engagement. The gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships across Sri Lanka’s public and private sectors and to exchange views on trade, investment, and economic collaboration within the Commonwealth network.

Held in an informal setting, the dinner enabled open dialogue on Sri Lanka’s economic priorities and the role of private capital and international partnerships in supporting sustainable growth. Such engagements form an important part of CWEIC’s on-the-ground approach, fostering trusted relationships that underpin long-term cooperation.

This engagement reflects CWEIC’s ongoing commitment to deepening Commonwealth trade and investment links, while strengthening connections between Sri Lankan enterprises and global partners across its network.
