As part of ongoing preparations for the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2026, Lord Marland, Chairman of CWEIC, visited Antigua and Barbuda this week.
During the visit, Lord Marland held a meeting with the Hon. Gaston Browne, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, and engaged with the local Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) Taskforce to discuss early planning for the Forum.
He also met with Jeff Hadeed, Chair of the Citizenship by Investment Unit, to explore economic development opportunities, and was hosted for dinner by the Resident British Commissioner, John Hamilton.
The visit underscores CWEIC’s commitment to working closely with the 2026 CHOGM host nation to ensure a successful and impactful event for Commonwealth business and government leaders alike.
