Lord Swire was honoured to call upon the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina as part of the launch for the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Forum which will be held in Dhaka on September 13-14.

Lord Swire informed the Prime Minister of the plans for the Forum and how it will serve as an opportunity to boost trade, commerce, and investment among the Commonwealth countries.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was pleased to hear of CWEIC’s plans for the Forum and the Bangladesh hub and commented “Commonwealth countries should strengthen business relations among themselves for their socioeconomic development”, before recommiting to presenese her at the Forum.
