JP Fabri
Country Director – Malta
JP Fabri is the Country Director for Malta at the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), where he supports the organisation’s mission to advance trade, investment, and economic collaboration across the Commonwealth, with a particular focus on Africa.
An Africa-focused entrepreneur and impact-driven economist, JP is the co-founder of TapSeed, a next-generation financial platform, and MyUbuntu, a mission-driven venture unlocking agricultural insurance for smallholder farmers across the continent. Through these initiatives, he is building financial inclusion and economic resilience at scale.
JP is also a co-founding partner of Seed, a research-driven advisory firm specialising in economic strategy, governance, and policy innovation. An economist by background, he has advised multiple governments on policy reform, economic resilience, and systemic transformation. His experience spans global advisory roles, investment firms, and central banking, equipping him with a strong understanding of finance, systems, and impact-driven growth.
In addition, JP has been nominated to serve as Malta’s Ambassador for Small States and Islands, a role that aligns closely with CWEIC’s work across small and developing economies. This nomination further strengthens his ability to support CWEIC’s engagement with small states and island nations across the Commonwealth, helping to advance inclusive growth, collaboration, and investment.
