CIS SecurityPaul’s distinguished career began within the ranks of the British Armed Forces, serving in the renowned Parachute Regiment. Over the course of many years served, he demonstrated unwavering dedication and exceptional skill, rising through the Regiment’s demanding structure and taking on leadership roles during complex operational deployments. His military tenure was marked by involvement in critical missions both in the UK and abroad, often within some of the world’s most volatile and challenging environments.
After leaving the military, Paul applied his expertise across global conflict zones and high-risk territories, providing strategic advisory and on-the-ground coordination to enhance safety and resilience. He then transitioned to the maritime security sector, safeguarding vessels, crews, and high-value cargo against piracy and terrorism, while collaborating with multinational teams and agencies. Renowned for his strategic insight and discretion, Paul has advised ultra-high-net-worth individuals and major enterprises, delivering bespoke risk management, crisis support, and operational continuity in unstable regions. Most recently, he has established himself in both the corporate and public sectors, guiding organisations through end-to-end security solutions, risk management, resilience planning, and strategic decision-making. Paul’s broad experience in the security arena for over 20 years and award-winning professionalism, continue to foster environments of integrity, robust security, and operational excellence.

Mr Alistair Sutherland

CIS SecurityAlistair’s career in policing spans nearly four decades, with roles across the Metropolitan Police, the City of London Police (CoLP), and the British Transport Police. Starting in 1986, he rose through the ranks, leading crime-fighting efforts in burglary, robbery, and drug supply in West London up to the rank of Inspector. As Chief Inspector, Superintendent and Chief Superintendent, he drove crime reduction in the Lambeth Borough and became a senior public order commander, taking charge of major events across London and assuming command roles at Notting Hill Carnival, Royal Weddings, and the London 2012 Olympics. Promoted to Commander in 2014, Alistair led Royalty and Specialist Protection, implementing key operational and policy improvements. His national portfolios have included the lead for the Private Security Industry, and Course Director for the national Counter Terrorism Command Course.
In 2016, Alistair joined the CoLP as Assistant Commissioner, overseeing fraud, cybercrime, operations, and strategic planning. In 2018 he was awarded the Queens Police Medal for distinguished service to Policing and then from 2021, as Deputy Chief Constable of the British Transport Police, Alistair spearheaded Force Transformation, Cyber and Information Security as SIRO, along with crime performance, Professionalism, Audit and Risk, and he also oversaw the implementation of the recommendations from the Manchester Arena terrorist attack public enquiry. Alistair is the only Chief Police Officer in modern times to have served in all three London forces.
