Lord Swire, Chair of the Commonwealth Legal Network, was pleased to convene the first update meeting of the year, with more activity planned. 

Lord Swire commenced proceedings by underlining the significance of the Rule of Law within the Commonwealth and stressing the pivotal role of CLN in facilitating Commonwealth trade. He emphasised the advantages of shared legal practices and the opportunities they afford to businesses. Mr Olasupo Shasore SAN, Co-Chair of the CLN, also extended a warm welcome to all attendees.

Each member firm provided an introduction and shared updates on recent developments within their practice and jurisdiction.
